Our Rose Breeds

The Hybrid Tea Roses are a delightful class of roses. Created around the 1800s, this rose has exquisitely formed, pointed “bud flowers.” Each stem typically holds a single flower with sparse foliage at the base.  These upright bushes, can grow up to 3-8 ft tall and come in a broad range of colors with large, often fragrant, showy blooms. Hybrid teas are often chosen for cut flowers due to their single, perfectly formed blooms on long, straight stems. They’re a classic choice, for trimming and placing in vases, so you can enjoy the blooms indoors…

Floribunda Roses are a delightful group of garden roses that combine the best qualities of hybrid tea and polyantha roses.Unlike Hybrids, Floribundas are compact, loosely bushy shrubs, producing clusters of small, colorful flowers throughout the summer. The multiple blooms create a spectacular display of colour and fragrance. This breed of roses are hardy and often tolerant to various climates. Most Floribundas can grow up to around 2-6 ft tall, creating a splendid wall of blooms to enjoy in your garden…

Shrub Roses are a diverse group of classic roses that offer a charming blend of old-world character and hardiness. They produce single, semi-double, or fully double blooms in a wide range of colors. The Shrub category consists of two main types. The ‘Old-Fashioned Shrub Rose’ originating before the 1800s with classic blooms evoke a nostalgic feel. The ‘English/Modern Shrub Rose,’ developed in the early 20th century, offers a greater color range, repeat-flowering, and disease resistance. Ultimately, these roses are excellent backdrops or standalone specimens…

Apart from the three breeds mentioned above, we grow an additional range of varied roses that bloom and thrive in multiple shapes and forms. Our French Bushes can range from Delbard, Old French and Gallica Roses. Our Portland Hybrids like ‘Comte De Chambord’ are known for double blooms and compact, tidy growth. We also supply Dwarf Roses known for there short height and multiple blooms as well as Grandifloras. These are another stunning class consisting of cross-bred Hybrid Tea and Floribundas giving you the best of both worlds…
